Back in November I made a post Titled, Page Rank Twitter Profile. This was a tutorial I created showing how to increase the page rank of your twitter profile page. I got a lot of mixed reviews about this strategy. Finally I can say I was right on the money… Matt Cutts clearly says that the page rank on your profile will effect how your twitter profile page ranks in the search engine in the video called: Does PageRank of Twitter Profiles Matter?

So the question… is getting your Twitter Profile page ranked in the search engines important or even necessary? …A BIG YES!!

I don’t care how you are or what your sell or promote… the more listings you get indexed the more traffic and the bigger your distribution online is.

Now… as for the “nofollow” tag on the link in your profile bio. Google says… and even Matt Cutt’s says that a nofollow tag does not help your search rankings. …Ok

Than why do I get nofollow links show up in my Webmaster Tools? Google is not going to tell us everything. I’m not saying they lie… but I believe there not telling the whole story when they answer a question.

I’ll let you in on a little secret I’m working on testing… and I’m going to use the a scene from the movie, The Gladiator to give the analogy. Maximus was told, Win the crowd and you win your freedom.  I look at nofollow tags this way. I believe that if a link that has a nofollow tag gets a lot of quality links to it, then Google rewards that link with freedom… and that’s all I’ll say about that for now.

Today Facebook dropped a BIG bombshell on the internet marketing community. Did you notice? Most likely not… Why? because it’s one simple line of code. Yep! Zuckerberg had a conference to showcase a new tool in Facebook…

“Like” lets users tell there friends about products and other web sites they favor with the single click of a mouse.

Got a question for you… whens the last time you updated your Facebook profile with stuff like your favorite movie, favorite books ect…? If your like me, probably never. What “Like” does… is every time a user click on that “Like” link. Your profile likes and interest is updated! Yep… I didn’t stutter.

See… Facebook makes its money the same way Google does. Selling CPC (cost-per-click) advertising. What makes Facebook unique, is that they allow you to target people demographics based on users …interest. Now are you getting it?

Whats mind blowing about this new tool, is that us marketers are now having the opportunity to target are ads using up to date information …which allows for us to have a better and more targeted campaign.

If Facebook implement this as described, marketers will have completely up-to-date data to craft their advertisements.

Now I’m a marketer and proud of it. I think this is brilliant, I want to give you a directly targeted marketing experience. With fresh demographic data based on likes -I can do that. SWEEEET.

Google knows about phrases, Facebook knows about you…

Yesterday Mike Filsaime announce to the world that his Butterfly Marketing script is now open source! I didn’t know whether to be shocked or upset… See I have been planing on developing my own version of the BM script to add a few features I felt it was lacking, but now why bother. Now that it’s open source, there is no limit to what people will create and add to it.

This is huge!! If you don’t already own the script… your missing out! This thing handles everything… You can set it up to work with Paypal, Clickbank, 2Checkout and Authorize.net. It also allows you to manage your own affiliate program and gives your affiliates their own unique links to promote your products.

As for installation of the script… its fairly easy. I use Dreamhost.com for my hosting and it allows me to set up a Mysql Database with one click of a button! Never had a problem with the script and I would highly recommend downloading this thing ASAP!

Recently I need to embed a video on a clients landing page I was making for them and they really wanted to use YouTube to host the video. Thing is… I didn’t want the video title and control bar to appear on the video. So after a ton of research and 2 hours of hacking code I came up with this solution. I still haven’t found away to make the video keep auto playing more than once, so if you know how or figure it out… please leave me a comment below.

Use the code and edit the Bold sections:

Where it says YOUTUBE URL HERE insert your youtube embed url, NOT the url of the YouTube page.

Now If you want the video to autoplay then at this code &autoplay=1 to the end of your YouTube URL.

It should look like this:

I wanted to talk today about a way to increase not only traffic to your YouTube channel, but how to increase its authority. I call it the YouTube Secret Authority Loophole. Why call it a loophole? Because I believe one day Google will wise up to this secret trick and turn it off. Kinda like the link in your Twitter profile at first was a dofollow link, and is now a nofollow link. So, take what I am about to describe to you and use it while you can…

First let me explain what Page Rank is…

Google’s algorithms use a rating system called page rank in order to help them determine the authority of a web page. This rating system is on a scale from 1 – 10. Ten being the highest and best rank in the scale, and only Google really knows what the factors are for raking a web page. What we do know is that if a web page with say, a page rank 6 links to your web page with a dofollow link, your web page will gain some PR 6 rank juice which will help increase your page rank. The higher page rank your web site or page gets, the more authority it has (in most cases) the more traffic Google will send to it. Page Rank will also help a webpage rank higher in the search results.

What does Page Rank have to do with YouTube?

Well I believe it plays a very important factor in getting your channel and videos not only more views, but video thumbnail images in the SERP’s. This can also be backed up by what Matt Cutt said in the Google Webmaster Central video, “What factors influence video results in Universal Search?“. You can also see the effect page rank has on YouTube. Below is a screen shot of the Nigahiga Channel who has the most subscribers on YouTube at the moment. A wopping 1,955,990 subscribers. If you notice you will see his channel has a page rank of 8, and note all of his videos have well over 1 million views each! Now that’s authority… Baby!!

YouTube Secret Authority Loophole In a Nutshell

If we take a look at my YouTube channel. (You can see this by using the Firefox browser and downloading the Firebug plugin.) If your look at the screen shot below you will notice WHATTHEBUCKSHOW commented on my channel 4 months ago. If you look at the html code below then you will see there is “no” nofollow tag in the code. Which means any page rank juice I have on my channel is flowing over to the WHATTHEBUCKSHOW channel.

YouTube is rewarding you for being part of the community! I started commenting on other peoples channel with high page rank  about 6 months ago and already my channel has a page rank of 4! Notice I only have a few videos. Now I am sure no matter how many channels I comment on… my channel will not get to a PR 8 any time soon. Mostly because I don’t have any videos that have gone viral with over a million views.

So the loophole is leaving comments on other channels that already have high page rank.  This will in turn let their page rank juice flow to your channel and increase your page rank.

Take advantage of this loophole while you can and start benefiting from it. Take 5 minutes next time you are on Youtube and leave a few channel comments. Do not spam!! In this video I explain How to  increase the page rank on your Twitter Profile. If your a fan of social media marketing… your going to want to start working on this. Very easy to do and if its too much, just out source it!  Enjoy!

I was originally inspired to wright this post after reading  ‘How do you make money online‘ over at Coty Schwabes GuruCrusher blog. So, I thought I would take him up on his inspiring idea and raise him… 2 ways I currently make money online.

1. One of my favorite ways to make money is building YouTube channels and videos. I look for a niche, and then create about 4 to 10 videos of really good free content. This helps with building subscriber, friends and channels views. Once I build the channel authority and the videos are have gotten a few thousand views… I will ether add Affiliate links to the video description or I’ll flip the YouTube Channel.

2. Another way I make money online is building building wordpress blogs to fit a CPA offer. I will find a niche and a cpa offer that work well together. I will build the blog out with creatives, blog posts and articles. I then use the Google Goggles software to help me optimize the site to achieve a high quality score in Google Adwords. Once I get the bars on Google Goggles to all turn green and are maxed out. I turn the traffic on. I will normally beat most of the competition with .15 – .17 cent clicks. Here is a bog of Matt Trainers that he has let out of the bag. It’s a good site to study.

3. Believe it or not… I actually make money selling free stuff you can find online. A year ago I create a product called SatTv Studio. This is a product that allows you to watch tv on your personal computer. I simply when out and found a few free resources on how to do this… and packaged it into a product that I sold for $24.97 on ebay. Funny thing about this, is there was already a ton of poeple selling a similar product on ebay… for around $9 and under. So, when I made mine… I just had a fulfillment company do everything! Because the product looked professional and I had a better sales letter, I made double what everyone else made.  It only cost me $6, and I never had to ship or do anything. Just push a button to fulfill an order. See picture to right…
